DESCRIPTION: This project consisted of a complete replacement of the original campus built in 1977 to provide a 21st century learning environment for staff and students. The classrooms are organized around grade-level pods and collaboration spaces, allowing diverse learning activities to take place. Every two classroom pods share a flexible classroom, allowing multiple classes to receive large group instruction with ease. The core of the school is a state of the art learning hub for students to eat, share activities and collaborate. The library is located adjacent to the hub and both spaces are technology rich and flexible to allow various educational pursuits.
