DESCRIPTION:
Truett Wilson Middle School was designed to accommodate 1,200 students in the 6th through 8th grades. The two-story structure spans approximately 180,000 square feet over a 20-acre site in the Sendera Ranch community. The unique design highlights a centrally-located outdoor courtyard that can only be accessed from the interior of the building. This window-walled courtyard serves as a great resource for providing natural light into the building while offering an outdoor garden and seating area for students and to gather. The project incorporates a two-story Professional Services Academy that houses educational strands focused on education, government/public safety, hospitality/tourism and human services.
